Is Learning To Play The Violin Hard?
Im 15 and have been interested in playing the violin. I was wondering if it is hard to learn and how long it would take.
Yes it is really hard. And there isn’t really a length for how long it will take. If you want it to sound nice like in recordings you’ve heard which made you want to play the violin it would probably take from 4-6 years depending on how musically talented you are but even then you keep excelling and learning new things and you can never finish learning the violin if you understand?
If you’ve never played any music before it will be even harder because you will have to get used to the musical notes on the staff and then learn where they are on the violin. It takes a lot of multitasking because you have to learn how to hold the violin, how to hold the bow, how to stand correctly and how to make a note sound nice but don’t give up it’s so worth it music unlocks the soul 
i’ve been playing for 8 years now and it’s like second nature to me now and I might even become a professional violinist. Hope this helps
