Which one? (Ukulele)?
There are two beginner kits that I think are worth the try on this site.

I’d just like to know the benefits of having the $200 set vs the $100 set. I’ve heard that it will stay in tune better and the case being hard is obviously better but why else? or, why not? does it even matter much?

I took a look at the sight and the one thing that jumps out at me is that the ukes are two different sizes…one is a soprano and one is a concert. That will explain some of the price difference along with the case being a hard case. Can I make a suggestion? Unless you are familiar with the brand of uke, have heard one, or know someone who has one it’s really hard to judge quality. I’d check www.musiciansfriend.com and look at the Oscar Schmidt OU2. It’s a nice beginner uke. As for the book and chord charts, they would be available from other sources, and Jim Beloff has a whole series of song books you could choose from.
