Good acoustic guitar with top-loader bridge?
I’ve been looking for an acoustic guitar, but I prefer it to have a top-loader bridge. The problem is, I can’t find very many guitars with one. Does anyone know a good, not too pricey acoustic with one?
I assume you’re referring to a pinless bridge. Some old Taylors had them and I believe there are some Ovation models with them as well. Problem is, you’re focusing on the wrong thing. Virtually all of the best acoustic guitars use pin bridges. Maybe you should be asking which are the best acoustic guitars and not worrying what kind of bridge they have. I’ve had acoustics with pin bridges for the last 47 years and have never had a problem with them.
Think about why it is that the best builders of acoustic guitars use a pin bridge.
