Should the bow string touch my face?
I am new to archery but have NEVER used a peep sight. I am shooting a RH #70 Bowtech compound bow. I am using a mechanical release with a Cobra 4 pin sight and a peep sight with the rubber cord. I installed the peep sight by drawing and anchoring like normal with my eyes closed and followed through by adjusting the peep to line up with my eye. My question is whether or not the string, when the bow is drawn, should be touching my nose, face, etc.
[people draw to a different anchor point. For me, I draw until the tips of my fingers just touche the corner of my mouth when not using a mechanical release. With a mechanical release, I draw until the string just lightly kisses the side of my cheek.
