How do you put a garbage bag over a stuck car window?
Ice was over my back car window this morning, and my 6 year old rolled it down (it will only go half way.) Now it is stuck and rain is getting in my car! What can I do?? How do you put a garbage bag over it??
You need a roll of parcel or preferably duct tape. Get the car under cover and dry off the surrounding area. Fold the bag to the correct size and stick it over the open window, pulling it tight as you go. Make sure that the tape seals completely around the plastic or the wind will get in and pull it straight off. Sorry if this sounds impractical if you are in the middle of a field but you wont have much success unless you can do this on dry paintwork and glass.
