Which guitar is best? (experienced players please)?
They both have awsome feel and sound but I’dd like to know which one to buy

The Seagull would be my choice.
Both guitars are nice, but the bowlback on the Ovation has me disenchanted. They are hard to hold when sitting down and feel really weird when standing. They also have that hollow “milk jug” tone in my opinion… that being said I have a couple of Ovations but hardly ever play them.
On the other hand, the Seagull, with the cedar to with cherry back and sides has a “different” tone to it. I build a guitar with a cedar top and sycamore back and sides and find that people like the volume and the looks but not the middly tone that cedar offers. I’ve never owned a Seagull, but being in the business I pay attention to fit and finish and sound, and for the money I think that it is a good value.
