Is it easy to learn how to play soprano sax?
I’m pretty interested in learning how to play. I play the clarinet; is it anything like that? (I’m only wondering this because of it’s shape. =P)

Some of the things will come easily, but some will not. The embouchure is close, which comes in handy some of the time, but at other points (low notes!) it gets in the way. Clarinet embouchure is firmer than any sax embouchure.
The fingerings are (mostly) the same as the upper register of the clarinet, and since the saxes overblow at the octave, they work for the same notes in both octaves. The “in between notes” on the clarinet (bottom space F, G, A and 3rd line Bb) are different on the sax, and so is third space C. They’re closer to flute or recorder fingerings, so that takes a little getting used to.
All in all, it’s not too hard, but it’s not completely easy either, to switch between or double on clarinet/sop sax. Intonation can be weird too!
