Reed Size
I went to my local music store and asked for Vandoran size 3 reed for clarinet but they only had Vandoran V12.?
So i bought the V12 in 3 but I was wondering if that is equal to a Vandoran 3.
P.S. I play clarinet
V12 reeds are slightly thicker at the ends than the regular Vandoren reeds. They usually help produce a darker tone and are used by many advanced players. Strengthwise, a size 3 V12 is slightly softer than a regular Vandoren 3. You shouldn’t have much trouble playing on it.
