How do you change brake pads on a 1996 chevy s10 pickup truck?
I’ve already got my truck jacked up and the tires taken off. I’ve tried to do it myself and ive looked up videos on how to do it. But, the brakes on my truck are different so none of them helped.
If you could please tell me step by step on what to do i would be very thankful. (and if possible you can give me links or show me pictures)

When you are changing disc brakes, you have to take off two or so bolts that hold the calipers on. There is two tricks you need to remember, one is when you pull that caliper off it will still have a brake line connected to it, don’t let it hang by the brake line, use a zip tie or a piece of metal wire to suspend it while you work on it.
Also before you remove the old pads, you have to spread the brake pads apart by compressing the brake piston. If you don’t do this before you slip the new pads in, the new pads will be thicker and mean that you won’t be able to slip them around the rotor when you try to reassemble. Use anything you can to spread the brake pads such as a pair of beefy pliers that you stick between the pads while they are closed and pull the handles apart to spread the pads, they make a tool to do it nice and proper, but you don’t have to have it.
You are also going to have a line on the rear brakes that is for the parking brake if you are wondering about that. Swapping the brake pads is pretty simple, there is just pads and sometimes little brackets to help guide the pads. Also look at the rotor and check to see how thick it is, if there is a lot of wear and the metal is getting thin you will have to replace it.
