I need to build a musical instrument?
I just started physics class and the teacher( who is really strict) is teaching us about soundwaves, i need to build a musical instrument that can play notes perfectlly, any good ideas?? im not very good in building stuff so know anythign simple but that will get me a good grade?
Sebastien, nothing could be easier to build. Decide on how many notes your instrument has to play and find that many identical glass bottles. Pour an inch of water into the first one, two inches into the second one and so on, until you have water in all of the bottles.
When you strike each bottle with a spoon or other such tool, a different note will be played. If you start right now, you will be able to play Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, within two hours.
