What should I expect at a Dave Matthews Band concert?
I’m going to see the Dave Matthews Band when they come to my hometown of Pittsburgh this Friday. I’ve heard that it gets pretty wild at these kinds of things; people do drugs, drink, and I’ve even heard that some people have sex while they’re playing! Is this honestly what happens? I honestly have no clue, somebody fill me in please…
Hey, I saw DMB for the first time at Soldier Field in Chicago 8 years ago or so. I was amazed at the mix of people there. In front of us were an older couple who had brought their grandkids, 7/8th grade or so I’d say. Two rows behind us were a bunch of 20 somethings passing a joint. I’ve never heard of the sex at their concerts, but drugs and alcohol definately. As the person above me said, I wouldn’t worry too much. The only drawback would be if you were bringing young children. Especially if it’s lawn type seating, You can usually find a good place to sit, near or away from whatever suits you. Have fun!!
