Mandolin Sunburst
What is a good beginner(and not too expensive) mandolin to learn on?
I’m sort of picky about style and color though. I really want an A-4-style mandolin and I really dislike sunburst and black coloured ones. I havn’t found any that meet my criteria though. Am I being too picky? Does anyone have suggestions?
You are being too picky. That’s what almost all mandolins look like. The best starter mandolins are the Kentucky KM-140S and KM-150S models. They are A-style mandolins.
There is also the Kentucky KM-162 which is A-style and has a solid light color top:
