Lute Guitar
Should I get a lute or wait?
I have been playing the bass for one and a half years now. I would consider myself decently experienced, if that makes since. I would like to play a lute but I don’t know if I have enough experience. Should I get an acoustic bass/guitar first or would I be able to handle a lute? The reason I am a little worried is the massive amount of strings a lute has compared to the bass.
What makes sense to me doesn’t necessarily mean the same for you. Go for the challenge and get the lute. Why wait?
