Can you look at my “philosophy” on life?

one day everyone will realise . they’ll realise that life isn’t about being the coolest, the prettiest, smartest or skinniest . they’ll realise it’s okay to eat in front of boys, and go down to the shops without makeup. they’ll realise that life isn’t about how many bottles of vodka you drank on the weekend or how many joints you smoked or being mean to asians or how many people you make fun of. it’s about being true to yourself, fulfilling your dreams, doing things for other people. it’s about family, friends, rainbows, sprinkles, glitter, little babies and that chick who plays luna in harry potter. its about alan rickman’s long pauses, and daniel radcliffe’s increasingly good acting. it’s about living on your own high, going absolutely crazy and living the happiest life you could ever imagine. coz you don’t want to get to the end and regret everything you’ve done and everyone you’ve ever let down .

Yes I agree with you completely and honestly I think it’s called maturity! When I was a teenager that’s all I ever cared about but when I had my son I grew up alot. Now I see that there are so many more important and wonderful things in life other than boys, parties and alcohol! for whatever the reason, wether gradually or quickly like me, I think there is a turning point point in every ones life where they grow up and realise this. I always think back to those days and have to laugh at myself lol!
