How do u hit an easy draw?
The easiest way to learn to draw the ball is to learn how to free up your wrist action. You need to learn how to release the club before you can get a shot to travel right to left. What needs to happen is that you clubface needs to be closed as you hit the ball. That will send the ball to the left (assuming you are right handed). The right part of the equation comes from you swing path being right of the intended target. So to easily learn to draw you must set up so that everything is aiming right of the target (otherwise when you release you will hit the ball left of the target). Then as you hit the ball release the club freely with your wrists and hands, so that the clubface closes as you hit the ball. Remember, the clubface has to be closed slightly as you hit the ball so that you get the hookspin you need. Basically, you are hitting a bad shot left, but are aiming to the right so that as the shot curves left it goes toward the target. To learn how to use your wrists better hit balls with you feet together, this should teach you how to release the club. Also, remember that you are swinging normally, as if you target were right, swing along the line of your feet, not at your real target. If you swing at your target and then release your hands you will pull the ball left. You may even hit it at your target, but it won’t be a draw shot just a shot that you pulled at the target. Remember, aim right, release th e club freely so that the face is pointing left, and use your normal swing-don’t swing at you target, but to the right of it.
