My flute is only 6 months old I clean it out everytime I use it but it has rust?

Underneath some keys and pads there’s some rust… how do i get rid of it? and what are good ways to clean a silver flute?

If you bring it to your local music store, you can have some of the pads replaced that are really bad, and not all of them. To clean a silver flute, go to your grocery store and get silver polish. It works wonderfully! I work at a music store, and we will take the keys off and clean everything with silver polish and put it back together and it looks like new.
