Fender Starcaster
Need help with replacing high e string on fender starcaster.?
my younger brother has a fender starcaster and i was able to change all the strings for him except for the high e string. I was able to detach it from the tuning peg, but i could not get it to go through the bridge. when i tried to push it through the bridge the string would just get all tangled up. I think this is due to how light the string is, but i could definitely use some help.

Is the end that went through the headstock all kinked up? If so, cut that off and you should have no trouble pulling the smooth end through the bridge. Otherwise just wiggle it ’til it comes through. Starcasters aren’t exactly high end guitars, which probably has something to do with it.
