Drum Drumsticks
I’m new to drumming. What drumsticks do you recommend?

hahahah okay. the drum set you have doesn’t determine the sticks you use. I suggest you go to a music store and just start fooling around with some of the drumsticks that they have in the store. There’s a lot to choose from. The thinner the stick the faster you can drum. but some people say they cant control the thinner sticks and there beats sound messy. The fatter sticks have more control and a different sound on the drum because they are heavier. Also consider the tips of the stick (that’s what she said) some of them have rubber tips, this protects your drum head from damage and also gives the stick better rebound after you the drum. If i were to suggest a good brand of stick i would have to suggest either vic firth or pro-mark. they have been in the drum stick industry for a while and know what there doing. The only problem with vic firth is that the stick breaks easier so if you wantdurabilityy go with the pro-mark.
