Bridge Pins Too Small..? Help!?
My uncle recently gave me an electric acoustic guitar and I went to change the strings, using new bridge pins, and they just seem way too small. They will not stick in the holes at all.
Anyway i went to a local guitar shop and they tell me all bridgepins are the same size. What should i do?
You have a few choices. You can reuse the original bridge pins, since they never go bad (unless somehow they break, which I’ve never seen). Or you can buy oversize bridge pins, which are available from places like Stewart-MacDonald:

But the shop was right to the extent that bridge pins are pretty much a single standard size with the exception of oversize ones.
