Dreadnought vs Grand Autotorium vs Grand concert?
So im gonna start playing guitar and i am looking for a recomendation as to what style acoustic i should play. i originally was gonna by a dreadnought but my friend says that those are usually over sized and are uncomfortable to play with and are only good for playing songs with low bass sounds. he also said that i should probably get a grand concert because they are more versatile and isn’t over sized. so between a grand auditorium and a grand concert which would you recommend? also what are the primary differences between these types of guitars?
im about 5′ 8” if that helps

Your friend is exactly right. Many people buy dreads because they're impressed with that deep bass but in point of fact a smaller guitar has a more even tonal balance which makes it sound better in the long run. And most people - myself included - find the dread uncomfortably large to play for extended periods.

Either one is fine but I'd lean toward the auditorium. It's just a little bigger than the grand concert and can produce more sound.
