What is the best brand of acoustic guitar strings?
My dad has a really good acoustic guitar, but the strings are really old. What is the best brand of acoustic guitar strings to buy? And what are the prices for them? Thanks.
This is a common question. There is no best brand, just lots of excellent brands. I happen to use and recommend Elixir Nanoweb light gauge acoustic strings. They’re around $14 a set but they last 4 – 5 times as long as non-coated strings. But there are lots of other great strings from Martin, GHS, Ernie Ball, and lots of others.
