What equipment should I use to record my acoustic-electric guitar?
I want to be able to plug in my acoustic-electric into something that also plugs into my computer and will record from there.
I’m sure there is some device out there
Well you could simply use this cord http://jaw.iinet.net.au/stuff/makevideo01.jpg and plug it in to to your computer’s blue input http://audacityteam.org/manual/images/3/3d/SoundCardColors.jpg Then adjust the output level on your guitars distortion pedal. Or, there is another jack for this that will make everything even easier, try to find this http://www.karaokewh.com/images/Equipment-Other/plug2_200.jpg and then plug it in to the blue jack input, and simply conect your guitar’s wire to it. As for recording any mp3 recording software will do.
