What is an “acoustic cutaway photo”?
Hey, so I posted a photo I took on an art website earlier today, and I got a comment saying it was a “sweet acoustic cutaway”. I’m new to photography and I appreciate the compliment (I think?) but I’m not sure what the commentor was referring to. Can someone explain what “sweet acoustic cutaway” would mean in terms of a photograph?

An acoustic cutaway is a Guitar. The cutaway portion allows easier access to the frets closest to the sound hole. I would think that someone in your picture is a guitar and the responder thought the guitar looked like a nice one.
